NEXUS is a Northern Ireland voluntary organisation established in 1984. 

NEXUS provides counselling for males and females 16 years and older.

NEXUS provides family support for victims friends and relatives.

NEXUS does education work in the community and schools.

Victims of sexual abuse often feel depressed, alone, can suffer eating disorders, or misuse alcohol and drugs. 

Victims of sexual abuse can feel ashamed, disbelieved, manipulated and hurt.

Victims of sexual abuse can develop psychosomatic illnesses such as migraine and chronic back pain.
